SF TECH WEEK · OCT 6–8, 2026 · SAN FRANCISCO

Open Source & Sovereign AI

A three-day track where builders and cryptographers get a working stage, not a pitch-deck stage. Day 1 is sovereign AI for builders. Day 2 is encryption for enterprise AI. Day 3 merges both into an open source unconference and ends with demo night.

Hosted by Apollo Innovation Commons · Headline sponsor: TrustedRouter

Three days

Day 1 · Oct 6

Sovereign AI for Builders

What it takes to ship on open weights: open weights and who gets to build, self-hosting and inference infrastructure, on-device inference, and export controls on shipping open weights internationally.

Day 2 · Oct 7

Encryption for Enterprise AI

Running inference on data you can't send to an API: homomorphic encryption for inference, secure enclaves and confidential computing, verifiable compute, and the enterprise sign-off conversation with security and compliance in the room. TrustedRouter headlines.

Day 3 · Oct 8

Open Source Unconference

Two days in: what got built and what broke. Case studies, a policy conversation from the builder side, an open build block, a closing synthesis keynote, and demo night.

How the days work

Breakfast bar + morning panel

Every day opens at 8:15 with coffee, contributors, and a social panel.

Working sessions

75-minute hands-on rooms with running code on screen, not slides. Bring a laptop.

Open build time

Lunch and afternoon blocks reserved for actually building.

Happy hour

5–7 PM every day. Day 3 rolls straight into demo night.
